The name Dastarkhan refers to uzbek hospitality tradition. Traditionally, it is a cloth laid out for a shared meal, where food is offered with an open heart and guests are welcomed like family. This set is an invitation not just to eat, but to experience the spirit of Uzbek hospitality, where abundance, attention, and generosity are at the center of every meal.
Plov is not just food. It is the pinnacle of Central Asian culinary art, infused with the traditions and inspiration of Persia, the Middle East, and China. Each serving is an explosion of flavors — meat, rice, and the generosity of the Eastern soul — where every spoonful seems to sing of love and craftsmanship.
Important! In every serving, I include a clove of roasted garlic, and for larger orders also a roasted hot chili pepper. Here’s how to eat them: gently squeeze a little of the soft garlic flesh onto a spoonful of pilaf and enjoy it (yes, pilaf is traditionally eaten with a spoon — try it, it really tastes better). The chili pepper can also be squeezed a little, if you’d like to add some heat.
Allergens: milk, wheat, sesame
